Single Session

Grounding in the Storm – Building Resilience & Purpose

Session Objectives

  • Provide a grounded space for reflection and stress relief
  • Identify internal/external stressors and emotional fatigue
  • Reconnect with core values and purpose
  • Introduce practical tools for building resilience and mental clarity

Welcome & Grounding (10 min)

  • Brief check-in: "What’s weighing most on your mind today?"
  • Breathing exercise or mindfulness moment to settle into the space
  • Establish safety and confidentiality

Stress + Strain Mapping (15–20 min)

  • Explore current stressors (on and off the job)
  • Discuss how these stressors show up physically, mentally, and emotionally
  • Prompt: “What’s one part of your day that feels most draining? And one that feels energizing?”
  • Introduce concept of “Operational vs. Residual Stress” (what happens in the moment vs. what lingers)

Resilience & Mindset Tools (15-20 min)

  • Introduce a technique (based on client need):
  • Cognitive reframing
  • Emotional regulation tool (e.g.,   tactical breathing, mental reset anchors)
  • Self-check habit (daily 2-minute decompression strategy)
  • Discuss how to apply it in high-stress or transitional moments

Purpose Reconnection (10–15 min)

  • Values-based coaching: “Why did you choose this work?”
  • Help the client reconnect with identity beyond the uniform
  • Optional: Visualization or journaling prompt to tap into personal mission

Wrap-Up & Next Step Integration (5–10 min)

  • Values-based coaching: “Why did you choose this work?”
  • Help the client reconnect with identity beyond the uniform
  • Optional: Visualization or journaling prompt to tap into personal mission

90-Day First Responder Coaching Program - $2,100 Investment

Strength Within The Badge

This 90-day transformational coaching program is tailored for first responders navigating high-stress careers and seeking deeper alignment, mental clarity, and renewed purpose—on and off duty. Through weekly 60-minute 1:1 sessions, clients will build emotional resilience, shift limiting patterns, and develop mindset tools that support both professional strength and personal well-being.

Phase 1: Reset & Reflect (Weeks 1–3)

Focus: Self-awareness, stress mapping, and emotional grounding

  • Intake session + values alignment
  • Operational vs. residual stress: what lingers and why
  • The resilience baseline: where are you now?

Phase 2: Rebuild & Reframe (Weeks 4–6)

Focus: Mindset shifts, emotional regulation, reframing inner narratives

  • Cognitive reframing tools
  • Building your mental armor vs. emotional suppression
  • The role of identity: the badge vs. the person

Phase 3: Recharge & Realign (Weeks 7–9)

Focus: Habit change, self-care, and leadership in high-pressure roles

  • Designing healthy routines that support the nervous system
  • Boundary setting without guilt
  • Leading yourself and others with emotional intelligence

Phase 4: Rise & Reinforce (Weeks 10–12)

Focus: Fulfillment, goal alignment, and long-term strategy

  • Reconnecting to mission and purpose
  • Establishing a post-program growth plan
  • Creating an internal leadership mindset
  • Final session: reflection + recognition of transformation
